Point & Echo is an interdisciplinary collaboration between composer Eduardo Garcilazo and artist Pia Watson exploring translation between visual and sonic languages.

The project investigates how elements of one artistic medium can be transformed into another. Watson creates visual compositions that Garcilazo interprets and translates into sound, developing a process of exchange based on rhythm, structure, color, resonance, and perception.

The collaboration resulted in a series of visual works, sound compositions, and live performances in which image and sound coexist as parallel expressions of shared structures. Through processes of decoding and reinterpretation, Point & Echo explores how meaning shifts between mediums and how new forms emerge through artistic collaboration.
